Usually, luxury online shops provide the option to add a gift message at checkout. No matter how many items you have in your shopping cart, you are typically entitled to one gift message.
While playing with the Cartier website, I noticed a nice idea: you can add a gift message to each item you intend to purchase.
Why this detail is good:
1) Personalization: makes gifts more special
2) Convenience: simplifies gifting multiple items to different people while placing one order
The idea is even more appropriate due to the nature of Cartier's main offering—jewelry, which is often considered a gift.
Additionally, all Cartier designs are wrapped and delivered in signature Cartier packaging. Considering the brand's positioning and focus on jewelry, the lack of an eco-packaging option might be preferable to maintain the brand's magic rather than offering additional sustainable options.
